Republican small business owner Amy Reichert is running for the San Diego County Board of Supervisors District 4, which includes Clairemont, Hillcrest, La Mesa, Lemon Grove and Spring Valley, among other areas. She is challenging Democratic incumbent supervisor/educator Nathan Fletcher on the Nov. 8 ballot.

Reichert met with The San Diego Union-Tribune Editorial Board on Sept. 22 to discuss the 2022 general election and local and national issues such as COVID-19, cost of living, homelessness and more.
